Performing classics from Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey all the way up through Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Tony Bennett and more. This collection explores the vibrant evolution of a genre that has shaped the soundscape of jazz, blending energetic rhythms with soulful melodies. From its roots in the roaring '20s to its enduring influence on contemporary music, swing's infectious spirit continues to captivate audiences around the world.

Peachtree Road is excited to be partnering with the Atlanta Music Club for our 2024-2025 concert series opener. This venture is the first in a collaboration which will hopefully lead to more large performances in the future for AMC. It is our hope that this collaboration will be a great success for both organizations and the community. The Atlanta Music Club (AMC), established in 1915, is Atlanta's oldest chartered nonprofit music organization. The AMC’s history is rich in contributions to the arts scene in Atlanta.

Our October headliner is no stranger to First Friday! Truly a trumpet master, Joe Gransden formed and led a band playing the jazz classics reminiscent of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Duke Ellington, and Ella Fitzgerald. The Joe Gransden Band is quite popular in Atlanta. It has growing popularity everywhere, even performing for sold-out shows at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in NYC. First Friday at First is pleased to bring The Joe Gransden Quartet to downtown Atlanta.

25th Anniversary Jazz on the Lawn 2024

Callanwolde is proud to host the 2024 Jazz on the Lawn series in our beautiful outdoor amphitheater. The Callanwolde Amphitheater offers an intimate setting to relax with friends and enjoy live jazz surrounded by the natural beauty of the Callanwolde Estate. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, food and drink. The amphitheater features VIP tables and Lawn seating for General Admission. To celebrate 25 years of Jazz on the Lawn we are offering one of a kind experiences to each show! More details to be announced
